I must first apologise for the quietness on this front. I often overstep the 'once-a-month' gap between updates that I'm supposed to maintain. It's been interesting seeing how much traffic the site has gotten recently, especially given how quiet it's been over the last 3 months.
Now, most of my effort has been going toward 2 things recently.
First of all, I've been working on Muri v2 like it's my full-time job and I've got big-time overtime. Basically, I want to finish it before 2021-ish. It's a long time away, but I've got a lot to go. Actually, now that I've realised more fully the scale of what I still have left to make in the mod, I've drastically decreased its percentage on the Projects page. The reason it's all the way down to %60 is that I'm adding 2 bosses, 2-or-so new stages, and a final boss. One of those stages will require balls-to-the wall TSC, and the other will require some intermediate-level assembly. Also there's the completion of a third stage that will require some very advanced assembly. Now, these stages may be rather small from a gameplay standpoint, but both the bosses and the stages combined... from a workload standpoint... they're going to be larger than anything else worked on so far. So, we're looking at at least double the work time. Yes, that's right, it could very well be another 2 years before the mod is completed. I'm really trying not to cut corners with the mod. Although I have in more than once place so far, I want to come back to those places later on and make sure that the mod is a square experience overall.
And, second of all, I've been working on quite a bit of music recently. I'm hoping to compile it into an album at some point. This is a much shorter point than the last one, because far less about this is definite. I don't know what'll be on it, when it'll come out, etc. It's all up in the air, but regardless I hope to have something out at some point.
That's all from me for now. I might post another entry in a few months when there are things to update everybody about. All said, have a good autumn; or if you're in the northern hemisphere... have fun putting up with summer.
Thanks for reading,
zxin
